Avocado's are native to Mexico and Central America, we are lucky to get an abundance of them here in California. Before I moved to the West Coast, I hadn't had eaten very many fresh. Thinking about it, probably was the main reason it was hard for me to give up cheese for many years but once I started eating these regularly in my salad as well as on my sandwiches, I was gave it up easy. Being in beach culture, it's one of the main foods I see every Surfer eating besides chips and salsa. So, I researched and saw the amazing benefits of why we love them.
