7 Simple Anti-aging hacks for Beach Babes and Bros

From Sun up to Sun down, a beach culture lifestyle involves doing a variety of recreational activities... We surf, we swim, we bike, we play volleyball, sand jog, do yoga and we read or  doing nothing but stare at the Ocean chillin.

If you've chosen this as your predominate lifestyle, it's easy to forget how much care our skin and body need to not accelerate the aging process... so here are a few hacks to always incorporate in your daily living.

Protecting your skin everyday is a must...

I have to admit, I didn't get serious about sunscreen until my 40's  but I have always made sure, I have SPF's in my make-up and body creams. I wear a big hat and usually have a pop-up tent with me at the Beach that I am under unless I'm in the Ocean.

Here are also some things I've done that have proven to help decrease the aging process.
  • Use Vitamin C, it helps improve the appearance of wrinkles, repairs sun damage and protects against oxidative stress.
  • Green Tea is not only an affective weight loss solution is also  also EGCG, a polyphenol tea that may improve mitochondrial function to support healthy aging.
  • Ginger has been proven to protect against collagen breakdown. Drinking ginger tea or taking ginger shots can also improve your digestion.
  • Argon Oil protects from sun damage, moisturizes skin and is packed with omega fatty acids, linoleic acids and vitamin E. It's great for an everyday skin routine.
  • Drink plenty of water are less likely to show signs of aging, maintains skin elasticity and keeps the body hydrated.
  • Sleep on a silk or satin pillow case helps to reduce skin becoming dry from cotton pillows.
  • Eat lots of plant based foods. Eating leafy vegetables contain Vitamin B which slow down the aging process. Fruits and vegetables like Greens, Spinach, Broccoli, peas boost your intake of phytonutrients.
  • Limit alcohol and caffeine. can rob the body of B-vitamins and vitamin C, also drinking high levels of caffeine can also interfere with vitamin D absorption. It can also cause the body to get rid of calcium, magnesium and potassium.
Although quite simple anti-aging hacks but so worth it in the long run.
